Frequently Asked Questions About UROSECURE !



General Questions :

  • Press a Power button on the side of the machine for 5secs. Machine will start and will take 2 minutes to boot completely. Your Machine is ready when Attendance and Visitor icon appears in vertical position.

  • Press a Power button on the side of the machine for 5secs. A message will appear on the screen asking permission “Do you want to shut down”. Tap on ‘OK’ icon. Machine will shut automatically.

  • Press Ctrl + Alt + Del keys on keyboard. Machine will restart automatically. Wait for 2 minutes. Your Machine is ready when Attendance and Visitor icon appears in vertical position.

  • Restart the Machine if Problem Persists, contact Customer care.

  • Connect the machine to a Wi-Fi Router. If Machine is connected than, check the settings at ISP end or Router settings. If ISP and Router settings working than contact Customer care.

  • Check settings at ISP end or Router settings. If ISP and Router settings are correct and working than contact Customer care.

  • Urosecure is a cloud based visitor management solution, in which all the data captured by urosecure is kept on cloud for further reference and analyse. It also send notification to the host and visitor as well, reducing the work load on security staff and receptionist.

  • Uroguard is the machine which is kept at premises entry point and used for capturing the visitor’s details with a still image and to upload the same on cloud.

  • Urosecure can be utilised in any organization for enhancing the security such as schools, corporates, industries, exporter-importer houses, hotels, etc.

  • Urosecure does not require much, but yes Uroguard which is part of Urosecure, requires one wifi connection for continuous internet connection and a power supply to provide power to the Uroguard. Urosecure cloud can be accessed from anywhere, anytime, on any device which provides browsing on internet for monitoring and analysis of visitors.

  • There are two models available for Uroguard:
    a) 7i Model have a display size of 7 inches with a good looking small keyboard.
    b) 9i Model have a display size of 9 inches with a robust bigger keyboard.


Online Portal :

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “update WTM” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to add WTM.
    Step 5: Click on “Add” button, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: Enter the name, email id, mobile number of the respective WTM, whom you want to add and click on save button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have added the WTM via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully the WTM added shall be displayed on Uroguard’s WTM list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Purpose” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to add purpose.
    Step 5: Click on “Add” button, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: Enter the desired purpose you want to add and click on save button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have added the purpose via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the purpose added shall be displayed on Uroguard’s respective list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Update Department” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to add department.
    Step 5: Click on “Add” button, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: Enter the desired department you want to add and click on save button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have added the department via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the department added shall be displayed on Uroguard’s respective list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “update WTM” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to edit WTM.
    Step 5: Click on edit button shown as a pencil icon after the name of WTM, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: Edit the name, email id, mobile number of the respective WTM, whom you want to edit and click on save button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have edited the WTM via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully the WTM edited shall be displayed on Uroguard’s WTM list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Purpose” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to edit purpose.
    Step 5: Click on edit button shown as a pencil icon after the name of purpose, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: Enter the desired purpose you want and click on save button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have edited the purpose via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the purpose edited shall be displayed on Uroguard’s respective list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Update Department” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to edit department.
    Step 5: Click on edit button shown as a pencil icon after the name of department, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: Enter the desired department you want and click on save button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have edited the department via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the department edited shall be displayed on Uroguard’s respective list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “update WTM” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to delete WTM.
    Step 5: Click on delete button shown as a recycle bin icon after the name of WTM, whom you want to delete, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: To delete the WTM, and click on confirm button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have deleted the WTM via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully the WTM shall be removed from Uroguard’s WTM list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Purpose” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to delete purpose.
    Step 5: Click on delete button shown as a pencil icon after the name of purpose, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: To delete the purpose, and click on confirm button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have deleted the purpose via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the purpose shall be removed from Uroguard’s purpose list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Update Department” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to delete department.
    Step 5: Click on delete button shown as a pencil icon after the name of department, a new dialog box will open.
    Step 6: To delete the department, and click on confirm button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have deleted the department via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the department shall be removed on Uroguard’s list.

  • After capturing visitor’s entry details by Uroguard, an email is sent to the WTM for informing the arrival of the visitor with complete details, for which a WTM’s email id is required.

  • After capturing visitor’s entry details by Uroguard, a sms is sent to the WTM for informing the arrival of the visitor, for which a WTM’s mobile number is required.

  • Urosecure app is a utility of Urosecure, which shows visitor’s details with image on WTM’s mobile and enables a WTM to allow or deny a visitor entry.

  • Urosecure app can be installed on an android based mobile phone having a live internet connection.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “update WTM” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to allow a WTM to install Urosecure app.
    Step 5: Click on app button shown as an android icon after the name of WTM.
    Step 6: A dialog box will open for confirmation to send sms. Click on yes.
    Step 7: Now check with WTM’s mobile for a sms received from urosec. A link to download urosec app and it activation code shall be there in the sms.
    Step 8: Open the link on mobile and download of app will start automatically.
    Step 9: After downloading the app install it.
    Step 10:After installation open the app. Now enter the mobile number of wtm as phone number and the secure code from sms received. Now touch on register button. App installation complete.

  • On visitor entry you will receive a notification of Urosecure app on your mobile screen. Touch on allow button to allow a visitor or deny button to deny a visitor.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “update WTM” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to dis-allow a WTM for Urosecure app.
    Step 5: Click on app button shown as an android icon after the name of WTM.
    Step 6: A dialog box will open for confirmation to deactivate urosecure app notification. Click on confirm.
    Step 7: Now remove urosecure app form WTM’s mobile phone.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “update WTM” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on Uroguard no. in which you may want to dis-allow a WTM for Urosecure app.
    Step 5: Click on app button shown as an android icon after the name of WTM.
    Step 6: A dialog box will open for confirmation to deactivate urosecure app notification. Click on confirm.
    Step 7: Now click on app button shown as an android icon after the name of WTM.
    Step 6: A dialog box will open for confirmation to send sms. Click on yes.
    Step 7: Now check with WTM’s mobile for a sms received from urosec. A link to download urosec app and it activation code shall be there in the sms.
    Step 8: Open the link on mobile and download of app will start automatically.
    Step 9: After downloading the app install it.
    Step 10: After installation open the app. Now enter the mobile number of wtm as phone number and the secure code from sms received. Now touch on register button. App installation complete.

  • Step 1:Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: click on “dashboard” in left pane
    Step 3: On the top of right pane check for attendance data mentioned.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “dashboard” in left pane
    Step 3: On the top of right pane check visitor data mentioned.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “dashboard” in left pane
    Step 3: On the top of right pane check Total allocate sms mentioned.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “dashboard” in left pane
    Step 3: On the top of right pane check Remainder sms mentioned.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: On right top of the screen click on a downward arrow next to your ID. A pop will appear.
    Step 3: click on profile. Right pane will update.
    Step 4: enter new password in “password” field and “confirm password” field.
    Step 5: now click on save button at the bottom of screen.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “visitors” in left pane
    Step 3: Click on “search” button.
    Step 4: A dialog box will open. Enter the name of visitor in name field and click on search button.
    Step 5: The list of visitor entry with the specified name will be displayed.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “visitors” in left pane
    Step 3: Click on “search” button.
    Step 4: A dialog box will open. Enter the mobile number of visitor in mobile field and click on search button.
    Step 5: The list of visitor entry with the specified mobile number will be displayed.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “visitors” in left pane
    Step 3: Click on “search” button.
    Step 4: A dialog box will open. Enter the name of WTM in WTM field and click on search button.
    Step 5: The list of visitor entry with the specified WTM will be displayed.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “visitors” in left pane
    Step 3: Click on “search” button.
    Step 4: A dialog box will open. Enter the name of department in department field and click on search button.
    Step 5: The list of visitor entry with the specified department will be displayed.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “visitors” in left pane
    Step 3: Click on “search” button.
    Step 4: A dialog box will open. Enter the starting date in field next to “Date Range” and end date in field next to “To” and click on search button.
    Step 5: The list of visitor entry with the specified date range will be displayed.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Visitors” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on print button shown as a printer icon after the name of visitor, a print preview screen will open.
    Step 4: Select the working printer and click on print button. A Print command will be sent to the selected printer.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel
    Step 2: Click on “Visitors” in left pane.
    Step 3: Click on detail button in blue next to the purpose column for the respective visitor.
    Step 4: A new dialog box will open “Visitor’s Time Details” with in time and out time and also total time a visitor spent in the premises.

  • USOP – Ur Security Our Priority. In which we are very concerned about the data security. In USOP it shows the mapped IP address from where the Urosecure cloud panel has been accessed. You can track the unauthorized access to the panel. If any suspicious activity monitored you may report the same to police or customer care of urosecure.

  • Step 1: Tap on Visitor icon on uroguard
    Step 2: Enter the Mobile number on “mobile” field
    Step 3: Enter the name in “name” field
    Step 4: Enter the address in address field
    Step 5: Now tap on WTM and select the individual you want to meet
    Step 6: Tap on purpose and select your purpose
    Step 7: Tap on Dept. and select the department you want to go for.
    Step 8: Tap on “email” which is an optional field, enter the email id if you wish to
    Step 9: Tap on submit button.
    Step10: Show the message to security person, which is received from Urosec just after submitting your details.

  • Step 1: Tap on “Time to go” icon on uroguard
    Step 2: Enter the Exit code received on your mobile, which you have received while entering the premises
    Step 3: Tap on submit button

  • Step 1: Tap on attendance icon on uroguard
    Step 2: Select your name in name field
    Step 3: Select your status either “In” or “out”. “In” for entering the premises and “Out” for exiting the premises.

  • On uroguard press update button. A message shall flash on screen as “updated successfully”

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel.
    Step 2: Click on “Uroguard” in left pane
    Step 3: on right pane you will see current uroguards. Below them will be the counts of WTM, Department and purpose.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel.
    Step 2: click on “Attendance” in left pane. Attendance will expand
    Step 3: Click on “Add Attendance”
    Step 4: Now click on the Uroguard in which you want to add attendee
    Step 5: Click on Add button in right pane
    Step 6: A dialog box will open, specify the name of attendee in attendance name field and Employee code in Attendance code field (Note employee code should not be repeated in the list)
    Step 7: Click on save
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have added the attendee via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the attendee added shall be displayed on Uroguard’s respective list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel.
    Step 2: Click on “Attendance” in left pane. Attendance will expand
    Step 3: Click on “Add Attendance”
    Step 4: Now click on the Uroguard in which you want to edit attendee
    Step 5: Click on edit button shown as a pencil icon after the name of attendee.
    Step 6: A dialog box will open, specify the name of attendee in attendance name field and Employee code in Attendance code field (Note employee code should not be repeated in the list)
    Step 7: Click on save
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have added the attendee via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the attendee added shall be displayed on Uroguard’s respective list.

  • Step 1: Login to your Urosecure cloud panel.
    Step 2: Click on “Attendance” in left pane. Attendance will expand
    Step 3: Click on “Add Attendance”
    Step 4: now click on the Uroguard in which you want to delete attendee
    Step 5: Click on delete button shown as a recycle bin icon after the name of attendee.
    Step 6: A dialog box will open, Click on confirm button.
    Step 7: Now go to the respective Uroguard in which you have deleted the attendee via Urosecure cloud panel and Touch update button.
    Step 8: After updating successfully, the attendee deleted shall be removed on Uroguard’s respective list.
